Last night Tottenham were put out of the

UEFA cup by PSV on penalties.

The game started rapid but after a long wait of eighty one minutes a fantastic cross from Pascal Chimbonda was smashed in by Dimitar Berbatov to make sure that the game would go to extra time.

There were still no goals in extra time so it went to penalties. Jermaine Jenas had the chance to win the match but his time and effort was saved by Psv’s goalkeeper Gomes. It was 6-5 PSV on penalties but on the twelfth penalty was taken by Chimbonda was missed by the ball swerving across the bar which put PSV into the last eight.
