Modern Studies is
the study of contemporary social, economic and political issues
in the UK and other countries. Our aim is to enable pupils
to develop their knowledge and understanding of the important
issues the world faces today. We use a wide range of activities
to encourage our pupils to take responsibility for their own
learning, provide them with the essential skills they will
need to succeed in the world beyond school and enable them
to better develop their understanding of the seven key concepts
underpinning our subject:
