What do these activities aim to develop?
Many of
our 'Determined to Succeed' activities don't take place in the
classroom. That's because it's not a subject like English or Maths
but involves taking part in workshops or exercises which aim to
develop the following attitudes in our young people:

Confidence

Self
esteem, self-awareness and self-motivation
-
A positive
view of others and respect for others
-
Willingness
to take a risk
-
Determination
to Succeed
-
A sense
of responsibility
-
Self
reliance
-
A 'can
do, will do' outlook in life
Activities
in which our young people participate will relate to one or more
of the following:
-
Development
of enterprising attitudes and skills
-
Development
of a knowledge and understanding of the world of work
-
Provision
of an experience of an enterprise or entrepreneurial nature
