Baldragon Win the Pupil Choice Award

Shannon Baker, Skye Boyd, Sophie Booth, Reece Fleming, Aideen Stott and Matthew Rutter (all of S2) represented Baldragon Academy at this year's Go4SET competition, run by the Engineering Development Trust (EDT).
Go4SET links teams of S2 pupils with employers and universities to offer a 10 week Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Project.
The young people put in many hours of hard work throughout the project, which had the title 'My School is an Island'. They conducted energy surveys, visited the factory at Tokheim, visited the new Baldragon Academy school building, conduct energy based experiments and have developed many new skills in the process. Each member of the team will also be awarded with a Silver Crest Award for their efforts.
We were delighted to partner with our sponsor company Tokheim and win this year's Pupil Choice Award. Well done to all of those who were involved.
