DYW Music Therapy

We were delighted to welcome music therapist, Mary Veal, to our music department who gave a very interesting talk about her work as a therapist with Nordoff Robbins.

Music therapy helps people with a range of conditions including learning disabilities, neurological disorders, life-limiting illness, brain injury, cerebral palsy, mental health issues, trauma, stroke and dementia and it was great for Baldragon pupils to find out about this very special kind of work.  Mary informed the pupils and staff about the qualifications and work experience required to enter this World of Work.
