S4:  National 3, 4 & 5 - Pupils are to use the following link to revise coursework:

Pupils should study the revision Power Point Presentations provided. Pupils should also use some of their time to research possible topics for their Added Value Unit (AVU) at National 4 or, their Assignment at National 5.  This may involve choosing one of the following topics then using the internet to find suitable webpages/news articles/videos on one of the topics listed below.  The source and web address of any useful pages should be noted by pupils to be accessed again upon return to class.

Possible Topics:

  • al-Shabab and terrorism in east Africa

  • The rise of the Islamic State terrorist group

  • The extent of underage drinking

  • The role of the Police in Scotland
