Vaccinations for S3, S4, S5 & S6 pupils

All S3, 4,5 and 6 pupils will be involved in the National vaccination programme this week.  One vaccination is for Diptheria, Tetanus and Polio Highly which are all infectious diseases that can all result in death. The other vaccination is Men ACWY which protects against 4 different strains of meningitis.

 

3rd year information

  1. Consents have been issued.  If you have not received please see the school office staff for assistance.
  2. Please remember to bring in any forms that you may still have at home.
  3. You will be receiving 2 injections; one for DTP and one for Men ACWY.
  4. The school health team will be in school on the 25th and 26th of February, and your day and time slot will be issued to you this week.
  5. Immunisation will be in the conference room (G41).
  6. This vaccine was last given when you were 4, and to maintain immunity it is important you get this final booster at this age which should prevent you getting any of these diseases.
  7. On the day – short sleeve shirts, t-shirts under shirts or sleeves that can roll right up.
  8. Remember to have a good breakfast.

 

4th 5th and 6th year information
